We are on strike!

Labour Minister Tonje Brenna (Ap) called off the strike in the state for Akademikerne. She justifies the decision with the consequences of a large strike at the Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM), reports NRK on Sunday evening.

Unio's goal is still to get the state back to the negotiating table.

As of Monday morning 3 June, Unio has more than doubled the number of strikers. The new, responsible number of strikers has consequences for border control at Gardermoen and Flesland, passport offices in Bergen and Trøndelag, the Meteorological Institute, the National Library and teacher and nurse training.
